It is a common saying that Cabo San Lucas has some of the best surfing on the Mexico coastline. Starting in March, the waves are high and the weather is warm. A perfect mix to get you straight into the water the entire duration of your trip. Cabo is located on the southern tip of Baja California Sur, also known as the California coast just south of the border. San Lucas is not only home to incredible surfing but also every other watersport, from snorkeling to scuba diving; they have got it all down there. Not to mention the party scene, which given this worldwide pandemic, would be something you can enjoy later on. Texas probably isn’t the first place you think of when it comes to surfing, especially if you’re from the West Coast, but remember, its coastline is the Gulf of Mexico! Known for solid waves and warm weather, South Padre Island borders Mexico as one of Texas’s southernmost points. Getting there is a breeze; simply take the Queen Isabella Causeway off Port Isabel to access the island. The watersport activities here are endless.
